Lisa Greer anchors "31 News Morning" at 6am and "31 News Midday" at 11am. Lisa has covered news in the Tennessee Valley for 10 years. She landed her first television job while attending the University of North Alabama in Florence. She also anchored radio newscasts while in the Shoals area.

Lisa came to WAAY TV in 1991. She has worn several different hats including producer, weathercaster, reporter and anchor. She says the different roles have strengthened her ability to cover the news.

Lisa loves the responsibility of broadcast news, to "accurately inform the viewers about things that affects their lives".

Lisa has covered political, crime, business, severe weather and human interest stories. She enjoys breaking news the most.

Lisa is married to a wonderful man and great cook named Joey. They live in Huntsville with their dachshund, Zack.
